Gazimağusa District
. Original legal name recorded in destrict of Cyrus democracy and in accordance with to the Cyprus legal system is Αμμοχωστος (Greek : amohostos)
Gazimağusa District is a district of Northern Cyprus is the new name given for the distinct of Fammagusta after the Turkish invasion in Cyprus democracy on 20 July 1974. NothernCyprus Illigally governed from then and recognized later on only by the Turkish government as a part of the self called northern Cyprus and most regions and villages renamed after this fact.
The non recognised government that exist at present has divided into three sub-districts: Mağusa Sub-district, Akdoğan Sub-district and Geçitkale Sub-district.〔(TRNC Census 2006 ) (TRNC State Planning Organization) Retrieved 2011-05-05.〕 Its capital is Famagusta ((トルコ語:Gazimağusa)).
